About Black Girls Read Too HTX

Black Girls Read Too HTX is a Houston-based book club and community that celebrates Black literature, authors, and culture. We host engaging book discussions, author spotlights, and themed events while creating a safe, inclusive space for women to connect over their love of books. Our mission is to amplify Black voices in literature, build community through storytelling, and make reading a fun, shared experience.

Our Team.

Meet the women who keep BGRT HTX moving forward! From planning events to creating content, we each bring our own energy and talents to the table. Together, we make this space feel like a mix of sisterhood, books, and good vibes.
